Porsche GT3 Touring Pack
The 911R caused such a stir that the limited few that were made available in 2016 were snapped up immediately and then started appearing for ridiculous mark-ups soon after.
The GT3 Touring Pack is Porsche’s answer to the speculators, it offers a similar 500hp 4.0-liter flat-six as well as a slick manual gearbox but retains most of the hardcore GT3 underpinnings.
This one won’t be limited to only a few units either.
Porsche 911T
Yes its another Porsche, but this one is even more attainable.
The original 1960s 911 was a light and minimalist sports car and the base T model was the purest embodiment of this ethos.
For 2017 we get a new 911 T, this one is based on the entry-level Carrera and features a pared down interior with a focus on the driving experience rather than on big power outputs.
Perfect for the driving enthusiast, and it is the cheapest 911 too, come on Santa don’t let us down.
Pagani Huayra BC
The Huayra can hardly be accused of being slow but Pagani took it upon themselves to create an even more exclusive and track-focused model anyway.
The BC, named after Pagani’s first ever customer, Benny Caiola, is lighter, faster and even more powerful than before.
With only 20 units having been built and all of them sold, Santa will have to do carefully remove one from an existing owner’s garage to make our Christmas dreams come true.
Bentley Continental GT
The previous Continental was on sale for so long that it seemed as if Bentley themselves had forgotten about the car altogether.
This brand-new version has an all-new 6.0-litre W12 engine and enough power to blast you all the way to 207mph.
It is not quite available for sale yet so Santa will once again have to commit a small felony and pilfer one from the factory itself. A breeze with 8 flying reindeer at his command.
McLaren 720S
McLaren has been continually releasing ever-improving supercars that keep putting the frighteners on the established competition.
We want to scare our local Ferrari owners with a nice 720S, car that redefines fast with its new 710bhp twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8.
Ford GT
The original Ford GT40 did all sorts of embarrassing things to Ferrari at LeMans in the ‘60s (although it did take a few tries) and the mid-2000s GT was a properly quick, if somewhat truck-like sports car.
The latest GT returns to its roots though and is a barely disguised racer for the road. Can we have ours in yellow please? With racing stripes.
Aston Martin DB11
The DB11 replaced the long-suffering DB9 this year, yes, the old car was pretty but it was no longer in the fight when it came to just about any measurable performance metric.
This new car though has an AMG-based twin-turbo V12 and looks even better. Maybe we could also get a cool James Bond suit to go with it.
Lexus LC
Just to show that we are not being greedy and just going for the most expensive cars out there, we would also like to put in a request for a nice and comparatively cheap Lexus LC500 sports coupe.
It has a sonorous 477 bhp 5.0-litre V8 and looks that make the competition look rather last-century.
Volkswagen Minibus Concept
The original Volkswagen Minibus became a symbol of freedom and self expression, this new all-electric concept will have millennials swooning over their quinoa muesli bars in much the same way.
It’s self-driving too which is probably a good thing. VW says it will be in production by 2022, but we want it now.
BMW i8 Convertible
The i8 has been around for a little while but the addition of this convertible version gets us excited all over again.
The eco credentials are also very appealing so maybe we should get ours painted green.
Tesla Roadster
This one is a tougher call seeing as it doesn’t actually exist yet but surely Santa could ‘persuade’ Elon Musk to make a special one-off pre-production prototype just for us.
The predicted 0-60mph time of 1.9-seconds should be just about quick enough and apparently it will have a 600+ mile range too.
Maybe our one could also be fitted with wings for some low-level flying.
Rimac Concept One
The Rimac is a super-rare all-electric supercar that actually exists, although there are only 8 and all have been sold. Well, Richard Hammond crashed one so call it 7.
The Concept One has an electric motor at each wheel and one of the most advanced torque vectoring systems in the world and over 1000 hp and we need one badly.
So once again, Santa, who let’s admit it, is not averse to a little bit of housebreaking, will need to pull one out the bag so to speak.
