From victory at Le Mans to James Bond’s favourite ride and on to today’s supercars, a new book called ‘Aston Martin DB: 70 Years’ celebrates 70 years of one of the greatest names in sports cars.

Written by Andrew Noakes, this lush coffee table book is packed with more than 250 pictures – many rarely seen from the Aston Martin Heritage Trust.

Though the DB era ended when David Brown sold the company in 1972, his influence is still felt – in the shape of James Bond’s most recent car, the specially-made DB10, and Aston Martin’s new DB11 supercar.

All images here are taken from ‘Aston Martin DB: 70 Years’, published by Aurum Press on October 19, 2017, (£45) and produced in association with The Aston Martin Heritage Trust.
